What is a good software app for video conferencing with vista? Preferably something that tin handle a high def web camera. I know that skype can do it. But is that the best option? Also, what would be good for personal use (freeware or something inexpensive), and how about for business use between two branches?

Try this.”Ok, when I reach 3, we each click play, alright? 1..2..3!”Or, get a macro tool. Set the timer to, say, 12pm or whatever fits you. When the timer (in the macro program) hits 12pm, it will click the place where you marked it.I’m no good with macro programs though. Google “macro program”.

My mother would like to have video conferencing with my sister and her new baby who live out of town. She bought some decent web cams for each of them. I suggested Skype for the video conference, but they weren’t happy with the quality.I pay for my own server space, so I was wondering if there was a program out there that would let ME host their video conferencing using my own bandwidth to give them a better picture.Anyone know of anything like this?

First of all the quality of the voice and image is dependent on so many different factors that it might not be the software that’s creating the issue, but could even be the sound cards they have, the graphic card, the internet connection… etc etc..That being said, there is a good free video conferencing software herehttp://www.dwyco.citymax.com/page/page/700292.htmand several more on Source Forge, which is all freeware and much of it is as good as the stuff you buy, if not better.When in disbelieve, and in need of software.. always try sourceforge.net

if you go into my computer go to settings. once you’re there look for a display window. click the tab to display size and you can modify it from there

VGA2WEB instant web conference solution is a fraction of the cost of other web collaboration alternatives. It installs in seconds, works with any server or operating system, and requires no software to be downloaded to the presenter or user’s computer. The presenter simply plugs his or her laptop or monitor into a VGA cable that attaches to the VGA2WEB product.
